It is possible to estimate the calories burned in riding a bike by using the MET data (Metabolic Equivalent of Task).
But weight is required in order to calculate calories burned.
I use Met Calculations for the following activity: bicycling, general (MET= 7.5).
Calories are per 1 hour of activity(same for male or female).
50 kg (man/woman) = 375 calories.
55 kg (man/woman) = 450 calories.
60 kg (man/woman) = 450 calories.
65 kg (man/woman) = 487.5 calories.
70 kg (man/woman) = 525 calories.
75 kg (man/woman) = 562.5 calories.
80 kg (man/woman) = 600 calories.
85 kg (man/woman) = 637.5 calories.
90 kg (man/woman) = 675 calories.
95 kg (man/woman) = 712.5 calories.
100 kg (man/woman) = 750 calories.
