It is possible to estimate the calories burned in riding a bike at a moderate speed by using the MET data (Metabolic Equivalent of Task).
But weight is required in order to calculate calories burned.
I use Met Calculations for the following activity: bicycling, 12-13.9 mph, leisure, moderate effort (MET= 8).
Calories are per 1 hour of activity(same for male or female).
50 kg (man/woman) = 400 calories.
55 kg (man/woman) = 480 calories.
60 kg (man/woman) = 480 calories.
65 kg (man/woman) = 520 calories.
70 kg (man/woman) = 560 calories.
75 kg (man/woman) = 600 calories.
80 kg (man/woman) = 640 calories.
85 kg (man/woman) = 680 calories.
90 kg (man/woman) = 720 calories.
95 kg (man/woman) = 760 calories.
100 kg (man/woman) = 800 calories.
