It is possible to estimate the calories burned in spining class by using the MET data (Metabolic Equivalent of Task).
But weight is required in order to calculate calories burned.
I use Met Calculations for the following activity: bicycling, stationary, RPM/Spin bike class (MET= 8.5).
Calories are per 1 hour of activity(same for male or female).
50 kg (man/woman) = 425 calories.
55 kg (man/woman) = 510 calories.
60 kg (man/woman) = 510 calories.
65 kg (man/woman) = 552.5 calories.
70 kg (man/woman) = 595 calories.
75 kg (man/woman) = 637.5 calories.
80 kg (man/woman) = 680 calories.
85 kg (man/woman) = 722.5 calories.
90 kg (man/woman) = 765 calories.
95 kg (man/woman) = 807.5 calories.
100 kg (man/woman) = 850 calories.
