It is possible to estimate the calories burned in body building training by using the MET data (Metabolic Equivalent of Task).
But weight is required in order to calculate calories burned.
I use Met Calculations for the following activity: resistance training (weight lifting, free weight, nautilus or universal), power lifting or body building, vigorous effort (Taylor Code 210) (MET= 6).
Calories are per 1 hour of activity(same for male or female).
50 kg (man/woman) = 300 calories.
55 kg (man/woman) = 360 calories.
60 kg (man/woman) = 360 calories.
65 kg (man/woman) = 390 calories.
70 kg (man/woman) = 420 calories.
75 kg (man/woman) = 450 calories.
80 kg (man/woman) = 480 calories.
85 kg (man/woman) = 510 calories.
90 kg (man/woman) = 540 calories.
95 kg (man/woman) = 570 calories.
100 kg (man/woman) = 600 calories.
