It is possible to estimate the calories burned in strength training 8-15 repetitions by using the MET data (Metabolic Equivalent of Task).
But weight is required in order to calculate calories burned.
I use Met Calculations for the following activity: resistance (weight) training, multiple exercises, 8-15 repetitions at varied resistance (MET= 3.5).
Calories are per 1 hour of activity(same for male or female).
(man/woman) weighing 50 kg = 175 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 55 kg = 210 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 60 kg = 210 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 65 kg = 227.5 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 70 kg = 245 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 75 kg = 262.5 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 80 kg = 280 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 85 kg = 297.5 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 90 kg = 315 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 95 kg = 332.5 calories.
(man/woman) weighing 100 kg = 350 calories.
