Patsy Ann Hannon
Patsy Ann Hannon, 69, of Hico, died Nov. 6 at her home in Hico. Funeral services were held Nov. 9 at graveside in Murphy Family Cemetery in Carlton. Sharon Robertson officiated.
Mrs. Hannon was born April 4, 1938 in Iredell and had lived in Hico for 30 years. She was a nurse and a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Ann Keller-Bunker of Hico; three sons, Alan Hannon of Hico, Robert Hannon of Bridgeport and Steven Hannon of Tennessee; a sister, Judy Glidden of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; two brothers, Jack Dennis of Salinas, Calif. and Bob Dennis of Iredell and 18 grandchildren.

Linda M. Bedard
Linda M. Bedard, 63, of Hamilton died Oct. 27 in her home. Funeral services were held Oct. 31 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Don Kirken officiating. Burial was on Nov. 1 in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 1, 1943 in Hamilton, the daughter of Werner and Leona Walther Bottlinger. She was married to Norman Bedard on July 25, 1981 in Grand Prairie.
Mrs. Bedard worked as an accounting technician for many years. She was retired from the Army Air Force Exchange.
Survivors include her mother, Leona Bottlinger; two brothers, Werner Bottlinger Jr. and wife Coda and Calvin Bottlinger and wife Carol; step children, Tim and Teresa Bedard, Cindy and Jaime Solarte, Valerie Bedard and Scott Parter, Sue Watzlawick, David Bedard and Mark Bedard; grandchildren, Kurt and Briana Solarte, Kris Solarte, Kevin Solarte, Jenny Watzlawick, Sabrina, Natalie, Luke and Jake Bedard and great-grandchildren, Ashton and Landon Watzlawick and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arietta Babbit
Arietta Babbitt of Hamilton died Oct. 31, 2007 in the Pinehurst Alzheimers Home in Tyler. Funeral services were held Nov. 2 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with her family officiating. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born July 4, 1923 in Hamilton, the daughter of Luther and Lenora Belle Gordon Hedgepeth. She was married to Jeff Allen Babbitt for 65. He preceded her in death in February of 2007.
Mrs. Babbitt was an aircraft tools engineer for the General Dynamics Corporation for many years before retiring. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Carol McDonald of Tyler; three nieces, Shirley Babbitt, Vickie Gobel and Barbara Gene Marshall; two nephews, Gary and Darrell Babbitt and a cousin, Pete Reed as well as numerous other cousins.

Jimmie Ray Devenport
Jimmie Ray Devenport, 74, of Haskell, died Nov. 6, 2007. Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at Paint Creek Baptist Church with Jimmy Griffith officiating. Burial followed at Howard Cemetery.
Mr. Devenport was born on Feb. 2, 1933 in Hamilton County, the son of John and Ada Walker Devenport. He was married to Judy Offield in Weatherford on Oct. 8, 1968 and moved to Haskell County in 1998 where he was self employed as a ranch foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Devenport; a son, John Devenport of Fort Worth; daughters, Tracy Keelin and husband Glen of Mobeetie, Cindy Devenport and Melissa Devenport, both of Fort Worth; sisters, Laphane Brumbalow and husband J.B. of Jonesboro, Patsy Brehnam of Malta, Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Fay Garrett Brooks
Fay Garrett Brooks, 94, died Nov. 7, 2007 in Hamilton.
She was born Nov. 12, 1912, the daughter of Mary Coleman Garrett and George Thomas Garrett. She moved to Fort Worth when she was five years old and spent her last eight years in Marble Falls and Hamilton with her children.
She was one of the librarians at the University Baptist Church for 25 years. Mrs. Brooks taught Sunday school, served as a Camp Fire Girls leader, a PTA officer, and was active in the Order of Eastern Star. She was president of the Kappa Sigma Wives and Mothers Club in the 1950s. When her husband was living she participated in many Shrine activities with him.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Theron Brooks Jr. on July 19, 1974, in Fort Worth; sister, Christine Pester; and brothers, Glen C. Garrett, Thomas C. Garrett and Douglas E. Garrett.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Theron Brooks III and wife, Joan; daughter, Jacquelyn and husband, Seth Moore Jr.; six grandchildren, Valerie Moore Krehmeier and husband, John, Brooke Ann Moore Prichard and husband, Gary, Alex Moore and wife, Katrina, Karen Brooks White and husband, Scott, Stuart Brooks, Evan Brooks and wife, Shannon; ten great-grandchildren, Will and Katherine Krehmeier, Kaitlin, Cambry, Avery Prichard, Joshua, Zachary, Matthew Moore, Wyatt and Georgia Brooks as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
John Henry Prewitt
John Henry Prewitt 69, a resident of Hamilton, died Nov. 11, 2007 in Hamilton. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joshua Crutchfield officiating. Interment will follow at the San Saba City Cemetery.
Mr. Prewitt was born Feb. 21, 1938 in Llano, the son of George William Prewitt and Willie Mae Crumley Prewitt.
He was married to Frances E. Hunter on September 12, 1961 in Llano where they made their home and lived most of their lives.
Mr. Prewitt entered the National Guard Services on April 26, 1958 and received an honorable release from active duty in Jan. 15, 1959. He attended the Southern Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kathy Ann Prewitt; one brother, Andrew Prewitt and his wife Barbara and one sister Ollie Mae Jordan and her husband Francis.
Survivors include his wife of Hamilton; two sons, Johnny Lee Prewitt of Hamilton and James Prewitt and his wife Shelly of Sherman; two daughters, Rose Prewitt-Dunn and her husband Wayne of Hamilton, and Margaret Prewitt of Hamburger AR; four grandchildren, Cameron Chase Prewitt, Melissa Prewitt, Jessica Prewitt, and Kenneth A. Prewitt, and one sister Cathrine and her husband W.J. Rogers of Tow Valley as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
