Mrs. Anglin
Louvetta Anglin died Feb. 14 in the Sweetwater Healthcare Center Nursing Home. Graveside services were held Feb. 17, 2007 in the Hamilton I.O.O.F Cemetery with Rev. Glenneth Harrington officiating.
She was born in Hamilton County March 17, 1913, the daughter of Hugh Sumerford and Minnie Presley Sumerford. She lived in Hamilton until 1992 when she moved to Sweetwater. She was a member of the First United Methodist Churches in Hamilton and Sweetwater.
Mrs. Anglin was an accomplished seamstress retiring from Patty’s of Texas, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered by all for her Christian example, positive attitude, sewing abilities and wonderful cooking.
She is preceded in death in 1982 by her husband of 51 years Irving L. Anglin; a son, Walter S. Anglin; two sisters, Hallie Anglin and Opal Coston; two brothers, V.S. Sumerford and W.A. Sumerford.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Betty and James Payne of Sweetwater; 11 grandchildren, Alan Payne, Kyle Payne, Vance Payne, Shanon Stone, Glen Anglin, Kevin Anglin, Katrina Allison, Michelle Painter, Cordie Adams, Toby Anglin, Andy Anglin; several great-grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bundrant
Florine Moncrief Bundrant, 85, a life-long resident of Erath County, died on Feb. 9, 2007. Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Harrell Memorial Chapel in Dublin with Rev. Dean Bradlin officiating. Chris Wulf, her nephew, gave the eulogy. Burial was at the Dublin Live Oak Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 25, 1921 in Erath County, the daughter of Thomas Alford Moncrief and Bessie Vera Tails Moncrief.
Mrs. Moncrief was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Dublin.
She was married to James Nathan Bundrant on March 21, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Tempie Bingham; four brothers, Woodrow, Bill, Tom and James Earl Moncrief.
Survivors include her son James Nathan Bundrant Jr. and wife Joyce Bundrant of Hico; her grandson, Anthony Bundrant and wife Luann Bundrant of Austin; her granddaughter, Lisa Flowers and husband Lee of Hico; great-grandchildren, Bethany, William and Rebecca Bundrant of Austin and Alexander (Scout) Flowers of Hico; her sister, Betty Cheatwood of Crowley; brothers, Len Moncrief of Selden, Jimmy Moncrief of Hamilton, Travis Moncrief of Granbury and John Moncrief of Fort Worth.
Pallbearers were Anthony Bundrant, Lee Flowers, Raymond Willis, Deric Wise, Cedric Wise, Mike Moncrief, Torry Moncrief and Perrin Cheatwood.
Mr. Sparling
Joseph Loren Sparling died Feb. 16, 2007 in his home. Funeral services were held Feb. 19 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Lightfoot officiating. Burial followed in the Gentry’s Mill Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.
Mr. Sparling was born April 24, 1924 in Coles County Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Norman Sparling. He was married to Opal in McGregor on Dec. 3, 1959.
He worked as a policeman in Lansing Mich. and was employed by Phillips Petroleum. He retired from Central Freight Lines.
Mr. Sparling built and operated Jo’s BBQ for several years in Hamilton and afterward operated the Stockyard Café.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Sparling of Hamilton; a son, Bill Stevens of Cedar Hill; three grandchildren, Jeff and Lisa Stevens of Carrollton, Kimberly Stevens of Dallas and a great-granddaughter: Lauren Stevens.

Mr. Eubank
James L. Eubank died Jan. 28, 2007 in the Hamilton Healthcare Center. Funeral Services were held Feb. 1 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Parr officiating. Burial followed in the Pottsville Public Cemetery. Mr. Eubank was born Nov. 19, 1925 in Red Oak, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Lee and Vera Maurine Berrier Eubank. He was married to Margie Hindman on Jan. 24, 1975 in Dublin. He worked as a Lathe Operator for Martin Gear and Sprocket for many years before his retirement.
Mr. Eubank served his Country in the United States Army and was a Baptist.
Survivors include: His wife, Margie Eubank of Hamilton; four sons, Jimmy Eubank and John Green, both of Hamilton, Bill Eubank of Oregon and Ray Green of Dripping Springs; two daughters, Linda Culver of Oregon and Jo Anne Green of Cincinnati Ohio; a sister, Linda Parr of Colorado Springs Colorado; a brother, Jerry Eubank of Streetman,11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
