Mrs. Aday
Shirley Ann Aday, 69, of Hamilton died Oct. 31, 2006 at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Graveside funeral services were held Nov. 3 in the Nix Cemetery near Lampasas.
Mrs. Aday was born Jan. 28, 1937 in Rockwall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver L. Edwards. She was married to Aubrey Ray Aday in Rockwall on April 10, 1954. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Burridge of Hamilton; three sons, Billy Aday of Arkansas, Roger Aday of Dallas and Clifford Aday of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Monk of Venus and Marie Posey of Dallas.

Mr. Kirkland
Paul Kirkland, a longtime resident of Hamilton died Nov. 4, 2006 in the Rocking Chair Ranch Assisted Living Center in Jonesboro. Funeral Services were held Nov. 6 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Marvin Andrews and Brian Edwards officiating. Burial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.
Mr. Kirkland was born March 1, 1936 in Rising Star, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Kirkland.
He was married to Charlene Andrews in Hamilton on September 13, 1958. He served his country in the United States Army where at retirement he was Assistant Director of Procurement at North Fort Hood.
He served as a minister in several churches for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Kirkland and wife Janice of Hico and their children, Michael Alan Williams, Jarod Kirkland, Jessica Kirkland and Justin Kirkland; Mike Kirkland and wife Beverly of Wichita Falls and their children, Marla Kirkland, and Ryan Kirkland two brothers, Cecil Ray Kirkland of Hamilton, and Bobby Joe Kirkland of China Springs.
Serving as pallbearers were Ryan Kirkland, Justin Kirkland, Johnny Slough, Clayton Roberts, Michael Williams and Dennis Biggs.
Honorary pallbearer was John Slough who is currently a Private First Class serving in the United States Army in Virginia.

Mrs. Taylor
Mildred C. Neystel Hovend Taylor, 89, died Nov. 4, 2006. Funeral services were held Nov. 7 in Mount Olivet Chapel with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born Jan. 5, 1917 in Concho County to Matilda and Oscar Neystel. She was a retired accountant in the brick manufacturing industry and a member of the American Society of Public Accountants, Eastern Star, American Legion, VFW, DVA, and the Burleson and Hamilton Senior Citizens Centers.
Survivors include her daughters, Bette J. Odom and Mary E. Gilmore; a sister, Reba June Milligan; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wagner
Lola Marie “Newsom” Wagner, 90, died Nov. 5, 2006. Funeral services were Nov. 7 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Schibler officiating. Burial followed in New I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mrs. Wagner was born January 15, 1916 at Moody, the daughter of John Daniel Newsom and his wife Nina Marie “Goode” Newsom the youngest of five children.
She was a long-time member of the Littleville Baptist Church and she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a seamstress and beautician for many years in Hamilton.
Survivors include her three children, Eugene Massingill and his wife Shirley of Idabel, Okla., Larry D. Massingill and his wife Barbara of Iredell and Joyce Cates and her husband Gene of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grand-children and six great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearer were Mike Massingill, Mark Massingill, Gary Cates, Kevin Cates, Patrick Murphy and Eric Massingill.
