Maria G. Medina, 89, of Gatesville died June 21, 2008 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Funeral Services were held June 24 at Comanche Fu-neral Home with Bro. Moises Padilla Jr. officiating. Burial was at Union Cemetery in Comanche.
Mrs. Medina was born April 28, 1919 in Floresville, the daughter of Antonio and Ge-neva (Garcia) Garza. She was married to Mancho Madina on April 25, 1941 in Lampasas.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 3, 1993; a grandson, Joe Joe Go-mez, great-granddaughter, Emily Ann Medina; two broth-ers and a sister.
Survivors include her sons, Freddie and wife Henrietta Me-dina of Hamilton, Rudy and wife Lucy Medina of Gustine, Joe and wife Virginia Medina and Robert and Mickie Medina, all of Pflugerville; daughters, Susan Medina, Juanita and husband Ernest Zarate, all of Gustine; daughter Mary Ashley of Stone Mountain, Ga., Anita Johnson of DeLeon, Teresa Medina of San Angelo, Lanora and husband Ricky Gutierrez of Comanche and Alice and Juan Reza of Gatesville; 38 grand-children; 41 great-grand-children; and a sister, Frances Hernandez of Driskoll.

Georgia Marie Robinson
Georgia Marie Robinson died June 19, 2008 in Hamil-ton. Funeral services were held at Riley Funeral Chapel on June 22 with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. She was born Octo-ber 12, 1925.

Dennis Cameron Vance
Dennis Cameron Vance, 47, of Hamilton, died June 21, 2008 in the Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral services were held June 24, 2008 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with David Mullins officiating. Bur-ial followed in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Vance was born July 19, 1960 in North Carolina, the son of Henry R. and Ruth Combs Vance. He was married to Ava Jennings in Lometa, on Nov. 22, 1984.
Mr. Vance was a welder at C&F Steel Company in Hamil-ton for several years, and was Pentecostal.
Survivors include his wife, Ava of Hamilton; his mother, Ruth of Gatesville; two sons, Henry Vance of Fort Worth and Todd Vance of Hamilton; five sisters, Katrina Perry, Cindy Newhall, Jeanne Dotson, Linda Day and Nancy Johnson and two brothers, Jeffrey Vance and Michael Vance.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry R. Vance and his sister Cheryl Rogers.
