Hamilton FCCLA has caught spring fever! Chapter members have discovered their various service projects to be markedly therapeutic for themselves, as well as for our community. Each Hamilton High School Family and Consumer Sciences class identified an area of concern, determined any immediate needs, and diligently began executing a campaign. Although not a cure-all, members felt compassioned to contribute their efforts, with the help of local entities, to ensure Hamilton is the very best it can be.
Projects include refurbishing the Kiwanis Park and the First Baptist Church basketball court, volunteering/monetary donations for Huts for Mutts, upgrading our City Pound facilities/providing dog blankets and toys, restocking our local Rainbow Room with needed supplies, as well as contributing volunteer work hours at Pecan Creek Park. Through continued support from our local citizens, the Hamilton Family, Career and Community Leaders of America can now utilize profits generated from their annual fundraiser to give back in a way most beneficial to everyone.
