| HEADED TO REGIONAL- The Hamilton High School boys’ golf team will be competing at the regional tournament in Stephenville next Monday after winning the district championship last week with an 11-stroke cushion over the nearest opponent. Sara Vann won the pole vault clearing 8’6”. Sidney Siepert took top honors in the 400-meter dash, running a 60 flat.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Keri Clary came in second in 16:87 and she also placed second in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.29.
Allie Lacomb claimed fourth in the shot put with a heave of 32’10 ½” and came in sixth in the discus at 85’6 ½”.
The Lady Elks came in fourth in the 1600-meter relay in 4:29.86. Carrying the baton were Vann, Siepert, Clary and Jessica Paul.
Argentina Obiedo placed sixth in the 1600-meter run in 6:07.22.
In the boys’ division, Andrew Gordon won first in both the 1600-meter run and the 3200-meter run. He ran 10:06.22 and 4:36.87 respectively.
