Bulldogs take district golf
championship by 11 strokes

Tyler Gentry led the Bulldog boys’ A golf team to a district championship last week with an 11-stroke cushion over the nearest competitor. The Bulldog A team will now advance to the regional tournament at Legends Golf Course in Stephenville on April 21.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 359-340 for a 699 total.
Gentry was the district’s top medallist with rounds of 86-77 for a 163 total. Also for the Bulldogs, Aaron Lewallen shot 90-88, 178; Paul Tober 90-91, 181; Justin Montgomery 93-84, 177; and Elliot Cude 93-91, 184.
The Hamilton B team shot a team total of 834 with rounds of 426 and 408.
Individual scores on the B team were: Justin Burnett 107-90, 197; Mitchell Cude 107-108, 215; Josiah Nebhut 108-98, 206; Carder Brooks 115-115, 230; Nathan Shaffer 104-112, 216; and Ben Chorenziak in medallist play 109-110, 219.
