Dogs dominate meet

ALL-DISTRICT HONORS- After placing second in the District 21-2A race this season, the Lady Bulldogs were well represented on the all-district team. Chasey Senger was named first team, Riley Burks and Doxie Thompson made second team, Christlyn Chapman was named the sixth man selection and Sonal Patel, Jordan Box and Angel Banda each received honorable mention. - The Bulldog track team had an impressive performance last Thursday afternoon in Comanche in a four-school practice meet. Although no medals were awarded in the practice meet, the Bulldogs dominated, claiming both first and second places in the sprint and distance relays and accumulating a number of firsts in individual events.
In the 400-meter relay, Hamilton’s first team of James Ratliff, Garet Box, Asa Hamilton and Keaton Muxworthy broke the tape at the finish line in 44.38. A second team of Jorden Lowe, Truman Baize, Jordan Ernstes and Landon Bullard, were close behind in second place in 45.8.
In the 1600-meter relay, James Ratliff, Lowe, Box and Baize won first in 3:42.8. Coming in second for Hamilton were Jordan Ratliff, Ernstes, Justice Harvey and Bullard in 3:47.0.
Richard Sepolio came in first in the 800-meter run in 2:23.8.
In the 110-meter hurdles, Hamilton had the top four finishers. James Ratliff won the race with an impressive early-season time of 14.72. Jordan Ratliff was second in 16.09, Jamie Frye third, 17.68 and Zach Anglin fourth, 17.99.
The Bulldogs also captured the first four places in the 100-meter dash. Hamilton crossed the finish line first in 11.09, Lowe was second in 11.09, Box third in 11.37 and Muxworthy fourth in 11.40.
Baize won the 400-meters in 54.7 and Sepolio came in third in 57.0.
The Bulldogs also claimed the top three spots in the 300-meter hurdles. James Ratliff won in 39.6, followed by Jordan Ratliff, 42.3, and Lowe, 43.9.
Lowe and Muxworthy tied for top honors in the 200-meter, both crossing the line in 23.5. Anglin was third in 24.7.
Sepolio won the 1600-meter run in 5:32 and Konner Wallace was second in 5:36.
