The week before they won the championship at the Tiger Relays in Hico. It was first reported that they placed second behind Whitney, but later a scoring error was discovered that gave the Bulldogs the championship. In Goldthwaite, the Dogs won both the 400-meter and 800-meter relays and continued to improve their times. The Hamilton boys completed the sprint relay in 44.20 and the 800-relay in 1:33.25. Carrying the baton in the 400 were Jorden Lowe, Keaton Muxworthy, Asa Hamilton and Jordan Ratliff. In the 800 were Lowe, Muxworthy, Landon Bullard and Truman Baize. Hamilton placed third in the mile-relay in 3:44.74. Running were Baize, Lowe, Bullard and Jordan Ratliff. James Ratliff won both of the hurdle events. He took first place in the 110-hurdles in 15.23 and in the 300s in 40.29. Jamie Frye took fifth place in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.85 and Jordan Ratliff was sixth in 16.94. Jordan Ratliff also placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles in 43.57. Asa Hamilton won the 200-meter dash in 23.27. Muxworthy was third in 23.88. Bullard ran a 55.15 to win the 400-meter dash. Jordan Ernstes came in third in 56.50. In the 100-meter dash, Lowe was third (11.15) and Muxworthy fifth (11.46). Richard Sepolio placed fourth in the 3200-meter run (11.22.40) and Ben Weems was sixth (12:06.93). Weems was also sixth in the 1600-meter run in 5:21.98. Lowe placed second in the long jump with a leap of 191 and Bullard was fifth at 184 ½. Mason Burke added points in the shot put with a second place heave of 418 ½. Garet Box was third in the triple jump at 3910 ½. Jamie Frye cleared 58 to place fifth in the high jump. |
