DISTRICT WIN- The Lady Bulldog volleyball team claimed their first district win Saturday morning in Hamilton with an exciting come-from-behind three game to two victory over Clifton. The win keeps the Lady Bulldogs in possible playoff contention with a 1-2 early season district record. Hamilton’s next varsity game will be in Hamilton against Moody on Friday. There will be freshmen, JV and varsity games starting at 4:30 p.m. After losing the first two games against Clifton, 23-25 and 15-25, the Hamilton girls showed great determination claiming the match with three must win games, 25-19, 25-21 and 15-12. “Our young ladies showed a lot of character and poise coming from behind and facing match elimination in three consecutive games,” said Coach Deborah Moore. In Bruceville-Eddy last Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs won the first game 26-24, but then lost three close games in a row to drop the match, 22-25, 19-25 and 22-25.
