Summer vacation coming to an end MINI CHEER CAMP Hamilton High School held Mini Cheer Camp July 9-11. More than 50 girls, ages K-5, were in attendance. HHS Cheerleaders taught various cheers and chants as well as a line dance. Campers performed for their parents and grandparents on the last day of camp. - Summer vacation is rapidly winding down for many Hamilton High School students. Practices for students participating in football, volleyball and band start next Monday. However, students will not return to the classrooms until Monday, Aug. 25. Because of continuing work improving the field house, both football scrimmages will be on the road this year. The first will be Saturday, Aug. 16 at Axtell starting at 10 a.m. The second will be in Cisco on Thursday, Aug. 21 in Cisco at 6 p.m. The first game is at Comanche on Friday, Aug. 29. The volleyball schedule had not been finalized as of Tuesday morning.
