Yancey Boatner named
to all-star football team

Yancy Boatner
- Yancey Boatner has been named to the all-star team for the West League of the Intense Football League and will be playing in the all-star game in Louisiana on July 29 as the team’s center.
Boatner’s team, the CenTex Barracudas also defeated the Alaska Wild in the first round of the playoffs last Saturday at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. The Barracudas will travel to Corpus Christi for the next round of the playoffs this Saturday. The winner of that game will advance to the championship game on July 26.
Boatner is former all-state lineman for the Bulldogs and played college football at Baylor University. He is the son of Arvel and Sharon Boat-ner of Hamilton.
