Photo by Tom Adams - Voters will go to the polls Saturday in Hamilton to select school board members and a mayor. The polls will open at 7 a.m. in the Hamilton County Courthouse and close at 7 p.m. The results will be posted that night in front of the newspaper office on the south side of the square. In the race for mayor, incumbent Mayor Roy Rumsey is being challenged by Stanley Morgan. Incumbent city council members, Betty Jenkins and Grant Lengefeld, did not draw an opponent. Four candidates are running for three positions on the Hamilton Independent School Board. Incumbents Herman Lanmon Jr., and Jon Mark Jester are joined in the race by Kasey Kunkel and Alan Watson. The three candidates with the most total votes will be elected.
