Lions luncheon downtown next Wednesday FIRST PLACE – Top winners at the local Invention Convention this year were (back, l-r) Isaac Evanson, Shelby Rogers, Josh Zschiesche, Jacob Hopson; (front, l-r) Lauren Lee, Kyle Krueger, Jack LeJune, Matthew Zschiesche, and Elaine Polster. - The Hamilton Lions Club will host a hamburger luncheon on Wednesday, May 7 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the courthouse on the Hamilton square. The meal will include hamburgers, beans, cobbler and tea. Tickets are $6 each. The local Lions are calling the luncheon “Feeding the Eyes of Texas,” because eye care, helping the blind and vision impaired are a long-standing commitment for the Lions.
