- Next week’s Sweetest Loop and Women’s Wellness Week are about more than just raising money for breast cancer research and women’s wellness issues. It is also an opportunity to remember those who have died of cancer and to honor those who have survived, according to Hamilton General Hospital Healthcare Foundation Board members.
The Hamilton Herald-News will provide ad space for those who wish to honor or remember cancer survivors and victims. The spaces will be sold for $20 each with all of the proceeds going to breast cancer research and women’s wellness.
“We truly appreciate the Herald-News’ willingness to support our fund-raising efforts in this way,” said HGH Foundation Board vice-chairman Jane Crouch. “What better way to memorialize those we have lost to cancer and honor those who have survived?”
Ad spaces can be purchased at the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce office. The deadline is Monday, April 28.
Hamilton Chamber of Commerce manager Steve Almquist is coordinating this project and ad space can be purchased at the Chamber office or by calling Almquist at 386-3216.
