Bubba Green dies Monday TMCN LUNCHEON- (l-r) Hamilton Chamber of Commerce manager Steve Almquist, Hamilton EDC Executive Director and Hamilton Mayor Roy Rumsey recently attended a Texas Midwest Community Network luncheon in Comanche to discuss projects with officials from other area cities. The theme of the meeting was “Tools for Growth.” - Sad news reached Hamilton Monday afternoon that local resident Bubba Green died in a truck accident earlier in the day between Midland and Odessa. It was speculated pending the results of an autopsy that a health issue may have occurred while he was driving and that he was trying to get the truck off the highway. It was reported that there was minimal damage to the truck. Green was a life-long resident of Hamilton County, grad-uating from Hamilton High School in 1975. Survivors include his wife, Sue, of Hamilton and his parents, James and Angie Green, and a sister, Jimmie Robbins, all also of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa. Services had not been set as of press time Tuesday. Complete obituary information will be included in next week’s newspaper.
