Two unrelated altercations in the City of Hamilton are under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department this week, both of which resulted in injuries.
Captain Jim Buster told The Herald-News Tuesday that an altercation between Robert Price and Courtney Raibourn at 900 E. Gentry at about noon Sunday resulted in Price being shot in the leg.
Buster said that Price drove himself to Hamilton General Hospital and that he was later transferred to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, where he was treated and released.
Buster also said that an altercation between Tammy Waters and Amanda Pettijohn at an apartment at 920 South Dempster resulted in Waters receiving a broken leg. He said that this altercation occurred between 6 and 6:30 p.m. last Friday.
Buster said no charges have been issued in either incidence, but that they are both still under investigation.
