- Team Leaders are being sought for the upcoming Relay for Life, set for Friday, May 16.
The first team captain meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lee Healthcare Conference Center.
Team leaders will need to recruit 8-15 people who are willing to solicit a minimum of $100 in donations to the American Cancer Society, get them to complete their registration paperwork, and submit a check for $25 to ACS for a commitment fee.
“Cancer never sleeps,” said spokesperson Mica Crownover, “That's the reason we walk all night.”
Contact Crownover at m.crownover@hamilton.k12.tx.us for a team packet or call 254 784-0360 or 386-4403. Packets may be picked up at the Hamilton Jr. High School office, at Crownover’s home at 309 N. Pecan, or call and one will be delivered to you.
