Friday's Internet Edition, November 21, 2008. Herald-News to close Friday HJH TMSCA COMPETITION - Hamilton Junior High Students competed at a Grapevine TMSCA meet on March 1, 2008. Two students, Mazzey Burnett and Weronika Konwent, qualified for state competition. The Hamilton County Courthouse and Hamilton City Hall will both be closed Friday, as will the Chamber of Commerce. Trash pickup will be on its normal schedule in Hamilton. Extraco Bank in Hamilton will be closing at noon on Friday. Mills County State Bank, Hamilton Banking Center will close at 4 p.m. First State Bank Central Texas in Hamilton will be open for their usual hours. First National Bank in Evant will close at 1 p.m. Hamilton Printing has also announced it will be closed Friday. The Hamilton Public Sch-ools are closed all of this week for spring break.
