WELCOME HOME- Warner Fox, owner of C&F Steel in Hamilton, hosted a welcome home barbecue at the Schoedel Barn last Friday for members of Alpha Company, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Cavalry Division. The company has just returned to Fort Hood after a 15-month deployment in Iraq. C&F Steel adopted the company prior to their deployment and gave them a sendoff party at Circle T Arena in October of 2006. Above, are (l-r) Captain Nathan Reed, Fox and 1st Sergeant Eric Bigness. Captain Reed said his group suffered some injuries during their deployment, but that everyone came home.

Tickets are now available for the annual Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet to be held Monday, March 24 at the Circle T Ranch Arena. Tickets are $20 and are available at the Chamber office on the southeast corner of the square. A social hour will start at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and then the awards presentations.
