MAGIC KINGDOM PARADE – The Hamilton High School Band marched in a parade at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on May 18 during their week-long trip to Florida. The group also visited Disney Hollywood Studios, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom and Universal Islands of Adventure. They toured NASA and enjoyed time on Cocoa Beach, including a catered bar-becue meal. The trip was made possible through the community’s generous support of the band’s many fundraisers throughout the years. Band Director Tim Edins said, “The trip went great. We want to thank all the businesses and individuals for their donations and support. We especially thank the parents for raising great kids!”

Anyone wishing to donate items for an auction to raise funds to build a new livestock barn at Fair Park, should con-tact Brandi at 223-0821 or Keslie at 216-0081.
The auction will be held in conjunction with an all-you-can-eat fish fry sponsored by the Hamilton County Livestock Association at the Jayson Har-ris Pavilion on Saturday, June 28 starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and $6 for children under 10.
All funds will go to help build the proposed new 175x100 foot livestock barn. The barn is an essential element of the annual Hamilton County Junior Livestock Show held each January. The old 175x50 foot barn is in danger of col-lapsing and will be torn down and the new barn built in its place.
There will also be washer and horseshoe tournaments at Fair Park on that Saturday starting at 3 p.m. Face painting for the children will also be avail-able.
