I would like to know what is the meaning of "Favus" in English and what is the correct translation in Spanish?

Meaning of Favus
Favid is a disease usually affecting the scalp, but occurring occasionally on any part of the skin, and even at times on mucous membranes. The uncomplicated appearance of the disease is that of a number of yellowish, circular, cup-shaped crusts (scutula) grouped in patches like a piece of honeycomb, each about the size of a split pea, with a hair projecting in the center. - See link

El favus, también llamado tiña fávica, es una enfermedad de la piel de carácter crónico, que puede estar producida por varias especies de hongos dermatofitos, principalmente Trichophyton schöenleinii, también Trichopyton violaceum y Microsporum gypseum.
